The Down South Big Smooth is a Big Trout bait! Stroll, Jig or Jerk it and it triggers strikes. Plum, Pearl, Watermelon Red and Big Poppa Pearl ALL produce.

Down South Lures - Big Smooth

Durable bait with a TON of action, only tradeoff is that it is does tend to want to helicopter on me in high winds. You can't really punch it through the wind (like a lil john xl) and get a lot of distance but the action this lure gives off with very minimal rod movement makes it a great presentation for when you want to fish low and slow on the bottom to finicky fish. Highly recommend adding a few to your box.
