I don’t even know what to say about this rod other then it is incredibly light and sensitive, you just have to put one in your hands. The action is exactly as described a perfect blend of the ultra mag and the slam mag. It really is a rod that can do it all and do it all well

There sits my carbon mag under my 13 fishing TXZ. The most versatile rod I own. I can throw light soft plastics or change it up and chunk some heavier spoons or wake baits. The rod simply just works and works well. I’m about to have a spinning rod made in the same setup.

I have owned every Waterloo built by Jimmy and his team. Although they have all been awesome, The 6'-9" Carbon Mag is the finest rod I have ever used for the Texas coast. Simply put, I can fish every lure from the smallest plastic to the largest top water with this one rod. The quality, backbone, and sensitivity are amazing (as you would expect from Waterloo).
